1. Who we are

This website, benalileather.com, is operated by Hicham Benali, trading as Benali Leather, based in Kenitra, Morocco. In these terms, “we” and “I” mean Benali Leather. “You” means the person using this site or placing an order.

Contact: hello@benalileather.com

2. Agreement

By using this site or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms at any time. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

4. Products

All items are made by hand. Small differences in colour, grain and marking are normal and are not defects. Leather is a natural material and no two pieces are identical.

Photographs are accurate as far as possible, but screens display colour differently.

Vegetable tanned leather darkens and changes with use and light. This is expected and is not a fault.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.

We may refuse or cancel an order if:

  • the item is unavailable
  • there was a pricing or description error
  • we cannot ship to your country
  • we suspect fraud

If we cancel, we refund you in full.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include no import duties or local taxes.

Payment is taken in full at the time of order through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

7. Personalization

Personalized items are made to your instructions. You are responsible for the spelling and content you submit. Check it before confirming.

We may refuse personalization requests that are offensive, unlawful, or that use another party’s trademark or protected name.

Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or the personalization does not match your order.

8. Shipping

Shipping times, costs and responsibilities are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Risk passes to you on delivery. Import duties and taxes in your country are your responsibility.

9. Returns and refunds

Set out in our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including photographs, text, designs and the Benali Leather name, belongs to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without written permission.

11. Your content

If you send us photographs, reviews or comments, you give us permission to use them to promote the business. You confirm the content is yours to share.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, to introduce malicious code, or to place fraudulent orders.

13. Liability

We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, or damage to items carried in a wallet.

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where that limitation is not permitted by law.

14. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including postal disruption, customs delays, strikes, natural events, or restrictions imposed by any government.

15. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. We comply with Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.

16. Complaints

Write to hello@benalileather.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

17. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
